Tuesdays: 5.45 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (Tiger Cubs - 5 to 8 years of age) Saturdays: 11.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. (Tiger Cubs - 5 to 8 years of age) Thursdays: 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. (Tigers - 8 to 12 years of age) Saturdays: 10.30 a.m. to 11.30 a.m. (Tigers - 8 to 12 years of age) The Taekwondo Tiger Cubs/Tigers Trial Program is an introduction to martial arts, designed specifically for children. It is a preparatory course for entry into the regular Taekwondo Tiger Cubs Program or Taekwondo Tigers Program. Children learn dojang etiquette, stretching techniques, and some very basic Taekwondo blocks, kicks, punches, and self-defence. However, the primary focus of classes is the development of self-control, goal-setting, respect, and self-esteem. Classes are an organised mixture of martial arts, fun and games. Students benefit in the following ways: - Increased social skills through positive interaction with children their own age.
- Development of discipline and growth of good behaviour thus setting a positive example for others.
- Builds coordination, balance, control, and fitness.
- Increased attention span, improvement in memory skills and development of responsibility.
- Builds confidence through achieving goals and skill improvement.
- Reinforcement of family values through class discussion of life skills.
- Burns off excess energy.
Once students have completed the Trial Program they enter the formal training system and begin working toward rank promotion.

Adult/Teen Program
Tuesdays: 6.45 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Thursdays: 6.45 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. Saturdays: 12.30 p.m. to 1.45 p.m. The adult/teen program focuses on three principal areas for which Taekwondo is renowned: cardiovascular and physical conditioning, self-defence, and lifestyle enrichment. It is also a great outlet for stress release. Techniques from other martial arts are incorporated to offer a well-rounded experience. Age, and gender or fitness level is no barrier to participation. We cater to individual needs and goals because students are encouraged to train at their own pace and concentrate on gradual growth and improvement. A typical class consists of warmup, stretching, curriculum training, and a cool-down.
